This office can take passport applications, including the fingerprints. That is not true of most honorary consuls, and it saves the trip to Atlanta.

Applying through an honorary consul adds 105.00 € to the passport fee, and the office may charge its own forwarding cost. Payment is in cash, in US dollars.

Visas and German ID cards are outside every honorary consul's powers, here and everywhere else in the country.

What you can settle without travelling
